Portable Tubs for Labor and Birth
Our Tubs
Our comfy, foam-lined Aquadoula® tubs are designed specifically as labor tubs. They are 4½ feet in diameter and 2 feet deep, and have a built-in, thermostat-controlled heater. A disposable liner covers the entire inner and outer surface of the tub.
Hospital Service - Mad River - $250
We deliver, assemble and begin filling the tub when you need it, and empty and remove the tub when you are done. We provide: slip-resistant floor mats, a debris scoop, and a floating thermometer. We deliver (cheerfully) 24 hours a day. Mad River Hospital requires women who wish to deliver in the tub to attend an orientation, meet certain health criteria, and sign a waiver.

- a contact phone number
The remainder of the rental fee ($200) is due in cash at the time of delivery. If you cancel your reservation, the deposit is fully refunded. Feel free to call or email for more information.
Homebirth Service - $180
We deliver and assemble the tub 24-7 when you go into active labor, and provide: a floating thermometer, any necessary faucet adapters, a fill hose, and a pump for emptying the tub. We deliver (cheerfully) 24 hours a day.
To make a homebirth reservation (required) please send:

- your due date
- a contact phone number
- address where you would like the tub delivered if different from your return address
